My name is Jenevieve! I've been reading Tarot cards for - yikes - 30 years now!!! The cards do not lie...if you come to them for the wrong reason, they will let you know. I can't tell you how often I pulled cards in my 20s with the intent of getting permission to do something I knew in my gut wasn't right. The guy with all the red flags that I DIDN'T want to see, the job that I knew wasn't right for me, the bangs I KNEW I shouldn't cut! The great thing about the cards is that they aren't actually here to tell us our "future". If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times - TIME IS AN ILLUSION. We all have free will, which means that our future can go anyway we make it go. The cards are not here to show us the "right" way, they are here to show us that every way is the right way...even when it feels like we've taken the wrongest turn ever. Like most readers, I went through a phase where I tested the cards. I would ask a question, pull some cards and not like the answer I was getting. I would re-shuffle and pull again and again and again. Each time, my readings would double down on their original message until I had to face what I knew was the truth in my own heart. This to me, is the magic of The Tarot. Most people come to me with a question that they already have the answer to. They just need to have the courage, to trust their own higher mind and listen to their own inner voice
